Heads Up Headbangers: Sept. 14th may be biggest night of your life!

Published by Ohad Nezer at 12:04 AM under Concerts | Music

4 of the most legendary bands in Thrash Metal history:  Metallica,  Megadeath, Slayer and Anthrax are joining forces in one last show taking place in Yankee Stadium on September 14 2011.   If you are a fan of Thrash Metal music, this may be your last chance to see these iconic bands perform on one stage.    The 4 bands have been discussing a joint tour ever for decades, but up until last year nothing had come into play.    It has been over 25 years since Metallica masterpiece “Master of Puppets”, Slayer’s “Reign in the Blood” and Megadeath’s  Platinum album “Peace Sells... But Who's Buying” came out, marking the inception of Metal Thrash music’s golden age. As  this is the last known concert of the big 4  tickets are sold out on the official website.  But you need not worry – a search on SeatKarma still comes up with many secondary market tickets starting at $156.  For all the Big 4 tickets available click here

Rain - A Tribute to The Beatles - Shines on Broadway

Published by Chris Wan at 12:30 PM under Broadway Shows | Concerts | Music | Shows | Theater

An exciting musical and theatrical show for all ages, Broadway Rain Tickets are a huge hit. The Beatles tribute band chronicles the legendary band's career through song, attire, film and hairstyles. Experiencing the music from the very beginning through the late sixties, is a visual and musical event that every Beatles fan, young and old, should see.

Rain puts the audience smack in the middle of the Beatles musical sensation and career, through music as well as actual films and commercials played on the stage's backdrop. Fans will listen, watch, clap, sing and dance along with the tribute band.

Although the band will take the audience from the Ed Sullivan show through the long haired, psychedelic late sixties era, the show is kept clean and void of any drug or sexual innuendos. Kids will love the performance as they sing along with their parents. It is a fun nostalgic evening out on Broadway.

Throughout the show, there are close up camera shots of the Fab Four look-a likes projected on a large screen. The uncanny resemblances, the note for note music and the stage dress for each period in the Beatles musical career, brings each fan back to the good old days. Currently, this event can be seen at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, New York. Tickets to the Broadway Show, Rain is what everyone is scrambling to get.

Oops, She’s Doing it again! Britney Spears to go back on Tour!

Published by Ohad Nezer at 12:48 PM under Concerts | Music

Pop music mega star Britney Spears announced a new tour to be held this summer.  The tour currently consisting of 26 concerts will begin in Sacramento on June 17, ending in Toronto on August 13.  Additional tour dates are likely to be added in the future.   The tour carries the same name as her new album “Femme Fatale” which was released this Tuesday.  Performances will likely include most songs from her latest album as well as some of Britney’s all time favorites (Hit Me Baby One More Time anyone?).
Spears’ new lead single "Hold it Against Me":

Brittney was originally supposed to join forces with Enrique Iglesias, but Iglesias announced that he is withdrawing his participation in the tour.  The reason for his change of heart is not completely clear, but sources say Iglesias did not want to take the role of a supporting performer.
Historically, Britney Spears tickets were sold out very fast with secondary market tickets selling at a significant markup, fans are strongly encouraged to purchase their tickets well in advance.   Tickets aren’t available yet but will be sure to let you know as soon as they go on sale.
